From the moment you first make contact with Cruise Performers to the day that you and your school climb aboard, you will be provided with a point of contact and support.
Let us talk you through the 7 simple steps to performing on a cruise ship:

Step 1

Initial contact is made with Cruise Performers: you provide us with dates of your suggested holiday and the ship that you have in mind. This is also a great opportunity for you to forward us evidence of your school's performance styles on a DVD or via a YouTube link.

Step 2

Cruise Performers will get in touch to provide a full breakdown of costs, the vacation prices and planned itinerary, ready for you to present to your school pupils and parents.

Step 3

A date is set for Cruise Performers to visit your school and explain everything about the vacation in a question and answer session with the parents. If, as a teacher you wish to present an ‘audition style’ performance to us, please feel free as we believe that this can be a beneficial experience for your dancers.

Step 4

Your deposits and booking forms are sent to us at Cruise Performers with cheques payable to Fred Olsen Travel (ABTA and ATOL protected). From this point, our travel agent partner (Ponders Travel) will handle all enquires from your parents to keep the booking process hassle-free.

Step 5

Once your school is booked onto your cruise a FREE ship visit is provided for a member of your school/travelling party. Stage plans and any documentation relevant to the onboard performance are also sent to you. All booking paperwork is sent directly to the individual families. Ponders Travel will continue to act as a point of contact for individual group questions or requests, for example: extra nights pre-cruise, cabin upgrades, all inclusive drinks packages, etc.

Step 6

Full payment is required between 10 to 12 weeks prior to your cruise date.

Step 7

As cruise week comes around you will have received an onboard performance and rehearsal schedule (which corresponds with the Cruise Director's copy). At this point we will also schedule a meeting between yourself and either the Cruise Director or assistant Cruise Director for when you board the ship to finalise show times and answer any queries you might have.
